Welcome. You're looking at a site hosted on rehosted.net â a solar-powered web hosting platform running on recycled retro hardware. This particular bucket is running on a Nintendo Wii. Yes, really.
This site is a dev log and personal page covering two things I spend most of my time thinking about: building rehosted and retro gaming.
Rehosted is an experiment in sustainable web hosting. The premise is simple: old hardware doesn't have to be e-waste. A Nintendo Wii draws around 15â20W under load â a fraction of what a modern server consumes. Run it off a solar panel and you've got genuinely green hosting.
The platform is built with Django + Nginx, containerised with Docker, and deployed to ARM hardware (Pi 4 as the controller, retro nodes for the actual sites). Users upload static files, get a subdomain, and their site lives on whatever vintage machine is available.

The rehosted development notes have moved to their own site.
The other half of this site. I grew up with the Amiga, fell in love with the PS1, and never really stopped playing games from that era. There's something about the constraints of late-80s / early-90s hardware that produced a style of game design I haven't seen matched since.
The Amiga in particular has had a remarkable resurgence â new games, new tools, an active homebrew scene. The Amiga page has what I've been playing and how I've been tinkering with Blitz Basic.
